Celebrating Creative Direct Mail with New Inspo Collection

We’re thrilled to share that we’re beginning to build a brand new “Direct Mail Inspo Collection” for Who’s Mailing What! Each week, our amazing virtual contributors submit mail pieces from all across the country, and we’ve asked them to spotlight those that bring exceptional creativity to the world of direct mail. Today, we’re happy to acknowledge George Yegiazaryan, a graphic designer from San Francisco. When he pulled this mail piece from his mailbox, it immediately stood out from the crowd with an ingenious touch of comic book charm! George picked this ad as his submission, and it was deemed the winner among all the other entries.

Prescription bags may not sound like the most exciting topic, but the company behind this winning submission, Health Care Logistics, took an unexpected and delightful approach. Designed to look like a vintage comic book cover, this direct mail piece introduces us to “Bagman and Baglady” – a playful take on the superhero genre we all know and love. These masked vigilantes make us look twice at this ad to appreciate the humor and intrigue. It’s brought to life with clever illustrations, bright colors, and a dash of comic book flair, grabbing attention in a fun and memorable way.

This submission is a fantastic example of how a little creativity can transform even the most straightforward topics into something engaging and memorable. The bold, eye-catching colors, humorous character design, and comic book cover twist, add an extra layer of excitement to a mail piece that might otherwise blend into the pile.
